Lo mein
Ingredients
- 1 bag Rooty Wok potatoes
- 2 tbsp sesame oil or rapeseed oil
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 large carrot
- 2 long sweet peppers
- 2 spring onions
Sauce:
- 4 tbsp soy
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp Mirin
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- black pepper
Add spring onions and herbs to garnish
Recipe
- Combine all of the ingredients for the sauce in a bowl and mix well. Set aside to wait.
- Finely chop the garlic, cut the carrots into thin slices, and slice the sweet peppers and spring onion.
- Heat the sesame or rapeseed oil in a pan. Add the vegetables and fry for a moment.
- Add the Rooty Wok potatoes and fry for five minutes.
- Add the sauce and mix well.
- Garnish with spring onions and herbs.
- Serve the Lo mein with fried chicken, meat, or vegetable protein, or enjoy it as it is.
